High speed and sharp printing
With its 3 inch built-in printer (actual print width of 2.8inch) the "GT10/11" series achives a high speed printing of 26 lines/sec. With its sharp and crisp output printing quality, delivery notices and receipts could be printed in a fast and an impressing high quality . Furthermore, printing speed could be enhanced by using the overlay function that allows the registration of overlay patterns for various forms, enabling variable data printing at a higher speed. The printer with its built in 1D and 2D barcodes, landscape printing function, paper and timing sensors that position the paper correctly every time the paper is set for printing, the use of different paper types (Labels) enable the "GT 10/11" series to be the perfect choice.
Printing with GT-10 Series
Fast and easy replacement paper roll
The GT-10 Series adopts the clamshell mechanism which allows the easy replacement of the paper roll. The clamshell method saves time and allows the operator only to throw in the paper roll, so the paper can be reloaded easily with the GT-10 Series hanging from the belt of the operator.
Printing with GT-11 Series
Its fully integrated, 3-inch fast thermal printer suits a selection of paper types; from normal thermal paper, label paper and single or double fanfold paper. Furthermore, logos and forms can be preprinted onto both sides.
Spooling allows data entry to continue while a print job executes in the background. Smoothed text and numbers print in an attractive serif and sans serif fonts with ruled lines without jaggies. As printing allows 90 degree rotation of text, wide ledger style printing from the short edge is possible.
DURABILITY
Superior waterproofing and protection from dust
GT-10/11 series Handy Terminal complies with the IP54 standards(except printer unit), thus GT-10/11 series is reliable enough to be used in outdoor harsh environment, in the rain or in dusty places with floating dirt. In order to prevent corrosion, the internal PCBs are coated with fluorine. The GT-10/11 series can be used with confidence in outdoor environment.
The GT-10/11 series design meets the dustproof standards, the enclosure is made extremely resistant to dust and floating dirt penetration. GT-10/11 series can be used and operated effectively, problem free, even in environment where there is dust and floating dirt, like factories, warehouses, construction sites, and so on.
Guaranteed Operation (Drop Testing onto Concrete from 1.2 m, 30 cm 1,000 times)
To expand the GT-10/11 series protection from any unexpected drop shocks, the main body is protected by rubber protectors in its two corners, minimising the shock impact damages, furthermore, the motherboard is shielded by a magnesium frame delivering a real rigid product.
Thanks to Canon long experience in providing the real substantial product safety, the GT-10/11 series passed the Canon strict tests for quality assurance, the GT-10/11 series endured a drop testing onto concrete from a height of 1.2m and 1000 drops from 30 cm.
Stable operation in a high temperature/humidity or low temperature/humidity
The GT-10/11 series is guaranteed to operate from -10°C to 50°C (-18° F to 122° F), RH 5% to 90%, regardless of the changes in the surrounding environmental conditions. The unit can be used easily where the environment is subject to high/low temperature and humidity changes.
ERGONOMIC DESIGN
Slim body (80 mm wide) easily held by anyone
Based on the experience in developing handy terminals over the years, the body of GT-10/11 series is slim (80 mm wide), and as there are few protruding parts on the back of the GT-10/11 series, holding the device is highly comfortable.
The GT-10/11 series adopts a mobile phone keyboard layout with a wide pitch interval keys, making the data input an easy task.
Large, easy-to-see 3.7" LCD
The GT-10/11 series adopts an easy-to-see semi transparent 3.7” TFT VGA colour LCD. Due to the incorporation of this semi transparent display, the glare caused by reflections is prevented and with the large VGA display, the screen excels in displaying the finest data details even under direct sun light.
The screen can be switched between VGA and QVGA mode*, also a screen rotation in 90° angles in VGA mode or 180° in QVGA mode is possible.
The display comprises a touch panel for an enhanced data input system.
Flexible side keys for your easy operation
A programmable side key is provided on both sides of the GT-10/11 series main body, these keys can be programmed as shortcut keys based on the required design of your application. In the case of the GT-10BCLW, it can also be programmed as a trigger key for the barcode scanner.
