Introducing the DR-4010C, a high-speed A4 duplex color document scanner that packs top-of-the-line features into a compact, user-friendly unit that will meet your every requirement.

Fine lines and intricate image detail can be captured with utmost precision and clarity thanks to advanced scanner technology and a high optical resolution of 600dpi. And the DR-4010C features many efficiency-boosting image processing functions such as automatic page size detection, skip blank page, deskew, text orientation recognition, and more to provide fast, unattended batch scanning.

The scanner's 3-line sensor is also responsible for the exceptional accuracy of color scans. Combined with the pinpoint color matching of the 3-Dimensional Color Correction chip, the result is vivid 24-bit color images that are true to the original document and free of unwanted color staining.

To ensure consistent image quality, the DR-4010C performs an automatic calibration process called shading prior to each scan job. In an all-new mechanism that provides protection against dust, the image sensor shifts to calibrate itself against a special white shading surface that's affixed directly on the sensor glass.

It's no longer necessary to separate black & white and color documents prior to scanning. This scanning mode allows the DR-4010C to automatically determine which documents of a mixed batch should be scanned in color, based on the amount of color detected on each document.
This function may not be supported by some third party scanning applications.

The Punch Hole Removal feature detects and removes the black dots left on an image after scanning a document with binder holes. Moire´ Reduction reduces unwanted moire´ pattern effects when scanning documents containing heavy graphic elements at lower resolutions. And "Prevent Bleed Through/Remove Background" keeps the back side of thin documents from showing through in the image.

Choose from three text enhancement modes to optimize the readability of documents, such as those with light colored text or patterned backgrounds, for more accurate OCR.
